Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Tram Ton – 2800m
Day 3: 2800m – the top of Fansipan – Tram Ton – Sapa
Day 4: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Night train to Hanoi
Day 5: Hanoi – Arrival

Day 1: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai (-/-/-)

  • Meet to Guide at your hotel in Hanoi.
  • 08:00: pick up at lobby of the hotel in Hanoi; transfer to Hanoi Railways station for night train to Sapa.
  • Overnight on train.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Tram Ton – 2800m (B, L, D)

  • Welcome up on arrival at Lao Cai railways station, we transfer to Sapa town for our breakfast at hotel, relax then travel by car toward the Silver Waterfall and Heaven Gate, From there we can see Fansipan, the highest peak of Indochina mountains as well as enjoy stunning views. The trek will be relatively soft until lunchtime. After a couple of hours of hiking, we will have a break at a nice spot in the forest and enjoy our lunch.
  • With new energy we start ascending as well as descending towards the campsite. En route we have many opportunities to enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to Sapa area and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province. We arrive in the campsite at 2800m ASL in late afternoon. Now it is time to relax and enjoy a well prepared dinner.
  • Approx: 0,5 hour driving/ 6 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch.

 

Day 3: 2800m – the top of Fansipan – Tram Ton – Sapa (B, L)

  • After having breakfast, we climb to the top, where we can celebrate our victory. From here, we can enjoy the best view to beautiful sceneries before descending. On the way we stop at a nice spot for lunch.
  • After lunch, we start our journey back. We follow the trail as well as stone steeps built by Hoang Lien National Park until we meet our car, which is there to take us back to Sapa. Arriving in Sapa, we celebrate our achievement and relax. Overnight at hotel in Sapa..
  • Approx: 0,5 hour driving/ 7,5 hours walking/ 1 hour lunch

 

Day 4: 2800m – the top of Fansipan – Tram Ton – Sapa (B, L)

  • Morning, we relax at town.
  • Afternoon, check out then we we head toward Muong Hoa valley, passing through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. In the afternoon, we return Sapa by car and transfer to Lao Cai railways station for our night train back to Hanoi.
  • Overnight on the train.

 

Day 5: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour (B,L,-)

  • We arrive in Hanoi Railways station early in the morning, transfer to hotel. Relax little bit.
  • takes you to Ho Chi Minh Complex, at which you visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidents Palace and Ho Chi Minh’s House on which President Ho Chi Minh lived until his last breath. It might take some minutes for the registration before you begin your visit at this complex.
  • 9:30am: After visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, continue your visit to Ho Chi Minh museum, on which documentaries and artifacts of President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career are displayed. After a short trip on the museum, continue admire the unique One Pillar Pagoda, which lies in the campus of the complex.
  • 11:00am: Take a walk to Tran Quoc Pagoda, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and charming beauty of one of the oldest pagoda in Hanoi.
  • 11:45am: Lunch at a local restaurant with local Vietnamese cuisine.
  • 1:30pm: Continue your tour at Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), the first Imperial University in Vietnam which was built in 1070.
  • 2:00pm: Leave the Temple of Literature, you have a cycle (predicable) trip to the Old Quarter, through Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Opera House and stop at St. Joseph’s Cathedral.
  • 3:00pm: Enjoy a 45-minutes water puppet show at Thang Long Puppetry Theater. After the show, our transfer will take you back to your hotel in Hanoi. End of tour.

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong (B,L,D)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Meet to Guide and heading for Halong Bay’s night cruise by a private seaplane. Halong Bay, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites will impress you right away with amazing water, thousands of sculpt limestone. You will pass through lively Mat Quy and Am Islet and then have a lunch buffet on the boat.
  • In the afternoon, we head to Tien Ong Cave, one of the oldest caves in the bay, which has been form from limestone karst about 700,000 years ago. Afterwards, the next destination is Cua Van Fishing Village, you will have a chance to witness the daily of locals who live in floating house with floating school. Then, we can join in the cooking class and help our skillful chef one’s hand while learn about Vietnamese Cuisine.
    Just freely take part in interesting activities on boat in the evening or take time at your leisure.
  • Overnight Cruise.

 

Day 7: Halong – Hanoi (B,Brunch,-)

  • Let’s get up early for a Tai Chi morning exercises! Or you can make the most of scenic landscape around. Here comes a morning bath in the bay. The boats will bring us to an untouched beach with white sand and crystal-clear water. The hill top is waiting for you to conquer! Next, let’s get back to Halong City and explore Ti Top Island, Tam Cung Cave and Poem Mountain.
  • A lunch brunch would be served before we return to Hanoi.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi (B,-,-)

  • Breakfast at hotel and check out room. Meet to Guide and transfer to Noi Bai airport. Fly back to your country. The end of the trip.
